Calvin Foster has been around a loooong time, accroding to Calvin. The writtings on this blog are a collection of memories, songs, and ponderings that Calvin has collected over his life and it is his desire to share them with you. Calvin loves music, especially Southern Gospel, and was in at least one quartet (The Servants - from LaGrange, Ga.). It has been told that Calvin always told the sound person to be sure the audience could not hear him when they were singing, although this could be one of Calvin's stories as well. When I asked if he would allow his writtings to be posted in a blog on the Internet, Calvin responded, "It's alright by me. If someone could get a chucle from this, especially in today's times, then I would be very pleased." I am not quite sure Calvin understands what a blog is, but he understands and appreciates music and laughter and their value to each of us. Enjoy ........ LarryW.
